The focus point of South Tyrol here in Olang in the green Puster Valley ranges from beautiful tours on Dolomite passes on the doorstep to a wine list that leaves nothing to be desired. Culinary treats are also on the programme at the MOAR'S Hotel: with local delicacies and regional products. The pasta here is home-made and the South Tyrolean herb liqueurs are the perfect way to round off a pleasant day biking in the Dolomites.

I am Kevin, junior manager at MOAR'S Hotel. At the age of 14, the desire for mobility was awakened in me and so I bought my first moped. South Tyrol is a land steeped in tradition, which is why I also paid attention to tradition when choosing my motorbike: it was an old Vespa 50 cc that accompanied me throughout the summer from then on.
After completing compulsory schooling, I decided to follow in our parents' footsteps together with my brother and complete an apprenticeship at a hotel management school. Due to my training in faraway Merano, I was rarely at home at the time, so the Vespa, which had been painted yellow and red, was gathering dust in the garage.
After a brief intermezzo at university in Milan, I was finally drawn back to the mountains. My interest in motorcycling was already there at the time, but was limited to passively following various motorbike races on television due to the lack of a suitable driving licence.
In December 2006, I finally passed my motorbike driving test. I took my driving lessons in October and November, when it felt like -20°C. But it was to be another few years before I got my first bike. One day, a good friend introduced me to his brand new KTM, which finally sparked the fever in me to get my own motorbike. That same day I travelled to Bolzano and bought a Ducati Monster 696.
After a few years in my parents' business, I realised that our guest portfolio absolutely had to be enriched with motorcyclists. Of course! So we have been a proud member of MoHo - Motorrad Hotels since 2017. To top off my KRAD ambitions, I successfully completed the MoHo Tour Guide Academy in 2019.
As my free time in the hotel is often quite limited, I enjoy it all the more when I can cover a few kilometres on my ‘Duc’ in glorious weather. The tours over the countless Dolomite passes on our doorstep are my ideal balance.
