In the evening, multi-talent Lukas swaps his motorbike gear for an apron and advises as a sommelier at wine & cheese tastings. His vinarium accommodates over 400 wines from all over the world - including some South Tyrolean classics, of course, but also organic Piwi wines (from fungus-resistant grape varieties) and other specialities.

When I was young, I spent some time in America where a Harley was compulsory. But at home in Sulden, only 10 minutes away from the Stelvio Pass, I am better off with a Ducati Scrambler. My hobby: I not only dedicate my spare time to motorbikes but also own a Lancia Fulvia Berlina from 1971.

Lukas Wallnöfer`s racy biography
My first experience was on a "Vespa" moped when I was 16. When I was 18, I wanted to see the big, wide world and went to America. I took over Hotel Paradies from my parents in 1993. Shortly afterwards, I built the residence with 23 lodges, a garage and the indoor swimming pool at that time. Hotel Paradies has been and is still being built and changed to this day. Life is like riding a motorbike: to keep your balance, you have to move forward! My biker heart has been revived since becoming a member of “MoHo - Motorbike Hotels". It's good to get on the motorbike and ride uphill to the Stelvio Pass from time to time. This passion can also be felt at the hotel and I enjoy welcoming both familiar faces and new bikers with a cheerful "Hello!" at the "Paradies" in Sulden every year.
