The picturesque Lofer is located in the tri-regional area of Salzburg, Tyrol and Berchtesgadener Land. The local top attraction is undoubtedly the Grossglockner, but other highlights include the Hochkönig, the Postalm with the Salzkammergut lakes, the Nockalmstraße, the Gerlos Pass and the Zillertal Alps. As a good host, I have to be cruel to my guests from time to time. Especially when we set off at the crack of dawn for the Großglockner to experience an unforgettable sunrise. Afterwards, however, I am regularly forgiven.
