Motorbike holidays in the Bavarian Forest Motorcyclists welcome: Biker holidays in the Bavarian Forest
Motorcycling in the Bavarian Forest
The Bavarian Forest is an approximately 100-kilometre-long low mountain range that stretches eastwards in Bavaria along the border between Germany and the Czech Republic. In the border triangle, a huge touring radius expands with Austria. Cross-border tours are the order of the day here, while in the north we explore the wooded and water-rich land of the Upper Palatinate Forest - incidentally also the region with the most castles in Germany. Highlights such as the Glass Route or the Porcelain Route also take you into the world of glass and porcelain making on a motorbike holiday in the Bavarian Forest.
The Bavarian Forest makes bikers' hearts beat faster
In the largest forest landscape in Central Europe, empty, curvy roads and beautiful nature will certainly not leave you cold. In the rear of the Bavarian Forest, the route takes you along the border ridge through dense forests and across the border into the idyllic Vltava Valley to the Czech Vltava reservoir. Historical gems such as the museum village of Tittling and the UNESCO town of Český Krumlov are also waiting to be discovered after crossing the border from Bavaria. As well as neighbouring Bohemia and the Innviertel region - both worthwhile destinations for bikers interested in culture and cuisine.
