You couldn‘t get more southern flair

Bikers watch out: Carinthia is calling! Across high alpine border crossings to Italy or Slovenia, along idyllic lakeside roads or on mountain routes through the Austrian Alps: everything is possible in the Alpe-Adria region. On a motorbike holiday in Carinthia, you can ride between Italian flair, Alpine charm and Slavic down-to-earthness!

Motorradurlaub in Kärnten

On the sunny side of the Alps

Do you prefer mountain routes or lakeside roads? In Carinthia it doesn't really matter, because in the southernmost part of Austria you get both in equal measure. Surrounded by the mountain ranges of the Hohe Tauern National Park, the Karawanken, the Gurktal & Carnic Alps, both the panoramic roads and the 200 or so lakes are the most popular destinations for motorcyclists. The motto here is: "From the highest mountain in Austria to the warmest bathing lakes". The Alps-Adriatic region is not only the meeting point of the three countries Austria, Italy and Slovenia, but also their cultures and landscapes. The many cross-border day tours therefore offer unprecedented variety and well-developed, low-traffic roads. Come to the sunny southern side of the Alps!

Our motorbike expert(s) of the region

Jens Linder MoHo host since 2022

Host Jens has been passionate about biking for more than 30 years and even worked as a riding instructor on two wheels for a few years.

Christine Engl & Josef Moser MoHo host since 1996

Christine is one of the MoHo founding members. It seems that she was and still is responsible for maintaining the quota of women within the group. But when it comes to bikes, she prefers proper mean machines. Josef loves his Yamaha 950 midnight and long bends.

Christof und Sandra Roßmann MoHo host since 2014

Motorbikes have always played a role in my life since my childhood. The best role in fact, as I met my wife Sandra on one of the many motorbike trips to Italy! Now we welcome our biker guests together.

Martin Deixelberger Martin Deixelberger

I've been riding motorbikes (legally) since I was 18, but I had my first motorised vehicle at the tender age of five.
