High-altitude euphoria & Mozartkugeln
The pass roads in the Alps are an experience in a class of their own! Because on these passes steeped in history, you are served up a unique panorama on your motorbike holiday in Salzburger Land. Of course, the queen of Alpine pass roads - the Grossglockner High Alpine Road - is particularly attractive to motorcyclists. With an ascent to over 2,500 metres, it is the highest of its kind in the whole of Austria. The 48 kilometres and spectacular 36 hairpin bends lead into the imposing world of the Hohe Tauern - a very special driving and nature experience.

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. So it comes as no surprise that Karin Vötter was born with a passion for motorbikes. After all, her father Helmut has collected around 200 vintage cars in his classic car museum. ‘That explains my love of motorised vehicles, no matter how many wheels they have. The main thing is that there's something to accelerate,’ says Karin with a laugh. There is simply a lot of horsepower in the VÖTTER DNA ...
