Valsugana - Kaiserjäger road - Val di Fiemme

Lago di Caldonazzo and Lago die Levico stretch across the valley bottom of Valsugana, 10 km east of the region’s capital Trento. The Kaiserjägerstraße, built like so many others as military road by the Austrian Kaiserjäger (riflemen) around 1911, leads from here uphill to the plateau of Lavarone. Today it is one of the region’s most famous anchor points for motor bikers and a popular destination for pass road enthusiasts. Just as spectacular as the road itself is the view to the two lakes.

Apart from that, the catchment area for day tours is simply perfect. It doesn’t matter whether you go for famous destinations like Lake Garda, the Manghen Pass, Passo Rolle and the Dolomites or prefer uncharted territory like the plateau of Piné, Monte Grappa and Veneto. The collected impressions are difficult to describe because there are so many.
