Gasthof Hotel Zur Post is no ordinary hotel - here, motorcycling culture is lived with heart and humour. Wolfi, landlord and passionate biker, accompanies his guests on guided tours from the front door. The attention to detail extends from the magnificent façade to the feel-good ambience of the cosy and comfortable traditional establishment. Arrive and switch off in the peace and romance of the picturesque Samerberg Alpine high valley and its Wellness Alm.
After the fun, head to the rustic parlour or the cosy beer garden. Not only regional delicacies await there, but often also shop talk among like-minded people over a cool "garage beer". In the small workshop, screws are tightened, jokes are exchanged and tour plans are forged - original Bavarian biker fun with a feel-good factor.

For me, riding a motorbike is like yoga on the road - relaxing, honest and enjoyable. My favourite thing is a leisurely tour through Chiemgau or over the Kaiser to Tyrol - followed by a good beer at the post office!

I'm Wolfgang "Wolfi" Pallauf - landlord, biker and pleasure-seeker. I got my moped licence when I was 16 and since then I've been hooked on motorbikes. Today I prefer to ride one of my two Harleys - the Street Glide Special or the Pan America - through my home region around Samerberg.
I've been a pleasure rider for over 25 years - never chasing seconds, but beautiful moments. My favourite tour? The Berchtesgaden tour: mountains, lakes, a snack on a mountain pasture and a cool beer at the end. It's a stone's throw from the Post - just like the Zillertal, Kitzbühel or Lake Chiemsee.
The Post has a family atmosphere: motorbikes sleep safely in the garage, we do small repairs ourselves and I personally take care of your physical well-being in the pub kitchen. Motorcycling, good food and Bavarian conviviality - that's my life and a holiday in Samerberg.

Whilst "she" enjoys a wellness treatment and relaxes in the sauna and bath, "he" goes on tour with the MoHo host - or vice versa. In the evening, both palates are spoilt equally with specialities from local cuisine.
