Your hosts Siegfried and Carmen from the motorbike hotel on Lake Reschen have made it their mission to personally show their guests the top touring region at the intersection of Italy, Austria and Switzerland. And the two passionate motorbike fans are damn good at it! The best way to do this is on the guided tours with Siegi, who makes every motorbike holiday in the Reschensee - Stilfersjoch - Vinschgau region a unique experience.

Welcome to your personal motorbike hotel in South Tyrol! In this small hotel with just 16 rooms, it's easy to strike up a conversation - and it's guaranteed to revolve around motorcycling. Because the hosts Carmen and Sigi are passionate bikers themselves, for whom motorcycling is not just a hobby but a lifestyle. As a trained MoHo tour guide, Siegi accompanies his guests on guided tours - peppered with South Tyrolean specialities. In the evening, he and his son Alex serve up Alpine-Mediterranean fusion cuisine in the restaurant.
But before that, it's off to the pass paradise of South Tyrol - the Dolomites! Because highlights in all directions await on the doorstep: the Silvretta High Alpine Road in Tyrol to the north, the Stelvio Pass in just 30 minutes to the south and Umbrail, Maloja & Co. in Switzerland to the west. After the tour is before the tour at Lake Reschen: enjoy the amazing panorama together on the sun terrace - or in the small relaxation area under the roof.

We, Carmen and Siegfried, the couple who run the Hotel am Reschensee, made a landmark decision a few years ago: The hotel had been renovated, the children were grown up and it was time to devote ourselves fully to biking. Without further ado, we went to the BMW dealer: "Give me a motorbike for 14 days, if it suits me and Carmen, I'll buy it off you!" The dealer knew that I had petrol in my blood - and so the first bike was a blue BMW R 1150 R. After further training courses in Munich and Bolzano, I attended the - equally groundbreaking - guide course at the MoHo Hotel Schönauer Hof. Today, we are also a proud member of MoHo - Motorrad Hotels - and accompany our guests week after week on our tours with a BMW R1200 R.
Our favourite tour leads along secret paths through the Vinschgau apple orchard over the Merano Tschöggelberg to Lake Kaltern - the ideal combination of high alpine and Mediterranean. Carmen advises guests on the tours, gives tips on the best places to stop for refreshments and knows all sorts of things about the mountain weather. I give tips when it comes to bikes - from new tyres to oil changes. We look forward to seeing you!
