The motorbike-enthusiastic boss is responsible for the activity programme and individual tour planning at the motorbike hotel with just 23 rooms. In addition to biker comfort, the adults-only feel-good hotel offers pure relaxation at 1,000 metres above everyday life - in the heated outdoor pool with a view of the Mühlviertel and in the wellness area. The feel-good Hotel Rockenschaub is located in the centre of the Mühlviertel region. Rocky is not only your host, but also a passionate biker. As a certified tour guide, the boss prefers to show his guests the highlights of the Mühlviertel and Waldviertel in Upper Austria in person. His insider tips are shared at breakfast, over a garage beer or at the regular bikers' table.
In the evening, the trained chef swaps his leather jacket for a chef's jacket and (once again) serves up delicious dishes made from regional and seasonal ingredients. Bikerwirt Rocky, an enthusiastic biker and tour guide, often enjoys travelling with his guests to the most beautiful places in Austria, in the Mühlviertel and Waldviertel, as far as Vienna and the Czech Republic. Certified as a "MoHo tour guide", he knows the needs of different types of bikers and has the ideal tour recommendation for everyone. He always goes into raptures himself when putting together the tours.
He rides around ten to twelve thousand kilometres on his motorbike every year. It is still not a routine for him, he enjoys it as much as he did on the first day. His father, who toured all over Europe on his own motorbike, gave him a hereditary predisposition, and even as a young boy he was interested in anything that could take bends and reach a certain speed. His attraction to motorbike riding is the fever for bends, the exhilaration that develops when riding, the freedom on two wheels and the experience of nature. The spirit of discovery awakens when he finds a new route that offers completely different views and insights into the area. Enduro riding also involves adventure, riding technique and a certain sporting aspect ... He has largely escaped accidents.

- 1990 at the age of 22, his first bike: a Honda Dominator 500.
A pretty cool entry-level model that also took him through South Tyrol and the Alps. - in 1991, he switched to the Africa Twin 750, with which he also conquered the Pyrenees.
- in1994, the Yamaha TDM 850 came into the garage.
- in2006, after an engine failure, he swapped it for a Yamaha TDM 900 TE
- 2006 at the same time the Yamaha 450 WR
- 2008 made room for the Husquarna 510 TE
- Since 2010 his long-time favourite motorbike BMW 1200 GS
