Andreas Hofer Tour - Staller Sattel - Sillian
From the Verwöhnhotel Vötter's Sportkristall, you set off via the main road and roundabout in Fürth to Mittersill and from there towards Felbertauern via a wonderful winding mountain road with fantastic scenery to Matrei in East Tyrol. From there, the route continues via St. Jakob to the Staller Sattel, a wonderfully situated mountain pass in the Eastern Alps at 2,052 metres above sea level in the direction of South Tyrol. Once there, the route continues from Rasen-Antholz to Bruneck and the well-known town of Brixen. The pretty little town of Brixen with its picturesque old town centre is worth a well-deserved bike break.
The route continues to Anterselva, Rasun, Welsbach, Innich in South Tyrol and back to Sillian. Via Lienz, Matrei, Felbertauern and Mittersill you return to the hotel in Kaprun.
