Dientner Sattel
We start on our home route up to the Dientner Sattel and from there on to Dienten and via the Dientner Landstraße
Dientner Landstraße with lots of bends and plenty of riding fun to Lend. In Lend we turn
turn off onto the Salzachtalstraße and continue to Taxenbach.
Rauris and the Hohe Tauern National Park
From Taxenbach, we head south into the Rauris Valley, passing the village of Rauris in the direction of the Hohe Tauern National Park.
towards the Hohe Tauern National Park. At the end of the valley we reach the gold mining site and a small toll road
small toll road, the Kolm Saigurnstraße. This leads us through a beautiful wooded area to a car park
car park right at the foot of the Hohe Tauern. One of the most beautiful valley heads in Austria awaits us.
Embach
From the head of the valley we cycle back past Rauris (or through the town centre, a good opportunity for a short break) to
centre, a good opportunity for a short break) until we turn right onto a small road to Embach. A
narrow country road leads us through Embach back onto the Salzachtalstraße.
The ride then continues on the Salzachtalstraße via Schwarzach, St. Johann to Bischofshofen.
From Bischofshofen we ride along the Hochkönigstraße with lots of bends and riding fun back to the
Bike & Snow Gasthof Lederer.
