The ride to the Fuscher Törl

We start our tour with lots of bends and riding fun over the Dientner Sattel and the Dientner

country road to Lend. From there we ride to Bruck where we turn off in the direction of the Grossglockner. From the

tollbooth we really get going. Bend after bend and metre after metre in altitude, we enjoy the ride

until we reach the Fuscher Törl at 2,428 metres.

Edelweiss peak

From the Fuscher Törl, you reach the Edelweißspitze via the Edelweißstraße, which at 2,572 metres is the highest

point on the Großglockner road. A breathtaking view awaits.

The road continues from the Fuscher Törl, past the Fuscher Lake and up to the Hochtor (2,504

m), and down again on the other side. At the roundabout we drive to the Kaiser Franz Josef Höhe.

Kaiser Franz Josef Height

From here you have a unique view of the Großglockner, Austria's highest mountain (3,798

metres) and the Pasterzen Glacier, the largest glacier in Austria. At the other end of the Großglockner

road we reach Heiligenblut.

Iselsberg Pass - Felbertauern

From Heiligenblut we cycle to Winklern and over the Iselsberg Pass to Lienz. From Lienz we cycle over

over the Felbertauern to Mittersill. Our tour takes us via Zell am See to Saalfelden. On

the Hochkönig road, the tour takes us via Filzen Sattel and Dientner Sattel back to the Bike & Snow Gasthof.

to the Bike & Snow Gasthof Lederer.

Winter closures and toll roads:

Großglockner road: open from the beginning of May to the beginning of November
