The trip to the Jägersee

The Jägerseetour is a leisurely café tour. We start on our home route on the Hochkönigstraße

and ride to Bischofshofen with lots of bends and then continue along the Salzachtalstraße to St. Johann im Pongau.

From St. Johann we take the Wagrainer Straße to Wagrain and turn off in the centre of Wagrain to Kleinarl.

Wagrain centre to Kleinarl. The tour takes us to the end of the valley in Kleinarl, where we reach the Jägersee at an altitude of

1,099 metres above sea level to the Jägersee. A beautiful mountain lake that is ideal for a break.

The Fritztal

From the Jägersee we cycle back to Wagrain. In Wagrain we turn right towards Flachau

and cycle to Reitdorf. There we take a small side road past the Atomic plant to Altenmarkt.

From Altenmarkt, the tour leads along the Fritzbach stream with beautiful bends to Bischofshofen and via

Hochkönigstraße back to the Bike & Snow Gasthof Lederer Hochkönig.

Winter closures and toll roads:

No toll roads, all roads are open all year round.
