Postal mountain tour

Ride up to the Postalm

The tour starts with a lot of riding fun as far as Bischofshofen. From there we ride along the Fritzbach

to Niederfritz and on through the Lammertal valley, via Abtenau to Voglau. In Voglau begins the

Postalmstraße, which takes us through Austria's largest alpine pasture area.

The Postalmstraße is a very beautiful and winding mountain road. An ideal place for a coffee break before

the tour takes us back down into the valley via numerous hairpin bends and through a beautiful gorge.

again. We reach the Wolfgangsee

Wolfgangsee and Wiestal

We cycle along the Wolfgangsee to St. Gilgen. From there we cycle through a short section of forest and

then past Lake Fuschl to Hof near Salzburg. Shortly after Hof we turn off onto the Wiestalstraße.

This road is a very popular motorbike route which takes us through the Wiestal valley, past the Wiestal reservoir

past the Wiestal reservoir to Hallein.

Lueg Pass and Salzach Valley

From Hallein, we ride through the Salzach Valley over the Lueg Pass on the Tennengebirge and Hagengebirge mountains to Bischofshofen.

to Bischofshofen and from there via the Hochkönigstraße back to the Bike & Snow Gasthof Lederer.
