The Carinthia Heritage Ride
This motorcycle tour leads you through central and northeastern Slovenia, combining picturesque valleys, mountain passes, and charming towns. With a mix of peaceful wide roads and winding alpine sections, it’s ideal for riders seeking both dynamic riding and beautiful scenery.
Starting at Hotel Grof, the route heads through Braslovče, Letuš, and Šmartno ob Paki before climbing toward Slemen for breathtaking views. The ride continues to Črna na Koroškem, Mežica, and across the border to Bleiburg in Austria. Through Lavamünd and Dravograd, the landscape delivers impressive mountain vistas before returning to Slovenia.
After a stop in Slovenj Gradec, the tour continues through Mislinja, Vitanje, and Socka, then descends toward Vojnik and Šmartinsko Lake for a peaceful break. The route then leads to Celje’s historic old town and Žalec, known for its brewing heritage, before returning to Hotel Grof.
