Vipava Valley & Postojna Scenic Ride

This vibrant motorcycle tour leads you through some of Slovenia’s most diverse and captivating landscapes — from the green Karst to the Mediterranean feel of the Goriška region, before returning through the peaceful central valleys. The varied terrain makes it ideal for riders with some experience, especially on the curvy Postojna–Cerknica section and the descent toward Trbovlje.

The journey starts at Hotel Grof and heads toward Trojane, perfect for a quick doughnut stop, then continues through Domžale to Vrhnika and the springs of the Ljubljanica. As you ride toward Ajdovščina and Nova Gorica, the scenery shifts into a warmer, Mediterranean character.

Turning inland through Šempeter pri Gorici, the route leads to Senožeče and Postojna — home to Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle. From there, the road takes you to Cerknica and its intermittent lake, followed by Grosuplje and a playful winding stretch through Šmartno pri Litiji.

The final part of the tour guides you through historic Trbovlje and then toward Marija Reka and Prebold, ending back at Hotel Grof for a satisfying finish to a dynamic ride.
