A home for motorbike enthusiasts
The Hotel Lenz is no ordinary motorbike hotel - it is a piece of living biker history. Grandma Berta laid the foundations 50 years ago with her petrol station. Today, "der Lenz" is known far beyond the valley as a home for motorbike enthusiasts. Motorbike holidays with the Lenz family come pretty close to the ideal: a family-run hotel right at the entrance to the legendary Silvretta Pass road, with laid-back hosts and authentic Tyrolean cuisine.
After the tour, you can relax in the panelled parlour, with a sauna infusion or in the aroma steam bath. You can meet up for lively conversation on the terrace or have fun in the "Berg-Rausch-Hütte" après bar. Chef Andreas plans the next tours together with his guests at the regulars' table and reveals his favourite routes - his Tyrol tips are worth their weight in gold!

Anyone who grows up at a petrol station directly on the Silvretta Pass road is literally brought up to be a motorcyclist! You meet countless role models almost every day. Today I welcome the role models from back then to our hotel. And the metaphor "petrol in my blood" has already been overused by my schoolmates because of my home.
Your host
To tell the story of how we, the Lenz family, got into motorcycling, we have to turn the clock back a little. More precisely, back 50 years, when my grandma Berta had the crazy idea of building a petrol station with a café attached. The people in the valley shook their heads, a woman and a petrol station somehow didn't fit together.
Back then, cars and motorbikes were also repaired at this petrol station. My father started an apprenticeship as a mechanic there, and the memories of it still make him smile to this day. He liked to talk about how they worked late into the night or about the subsequent joyrides through Paznaun. When you grow up like that, you are literally born with a passion for all things motorised. So of course I could hardly wait to finally get my motorbike licence at the age of 18.
And to this day, we still enjoy the convivial and good atmosphere in the guest garden or at the regulars' tables when motorcyclists stop by. Chatting together, talking shop, laughing and telling our guests about our favourite routes. There's something about that! After the bike season, my father and I retreat to the workshop from time to time to work on our two oldies and polish them up. The "old iron" from local production, such as the PUCH VS50 moped, built in 1954, and the PUCH 175 SV motorbike, built in 1956, have taken a shine to us. In addition, we cultivate the good taste and the connection to our Paznaun valley. And yet it goes without saying that we know the Alpine region and its roads very well, even beyond our national borders.
