After-work tour - Vent
Start:... at the Alpenhotel Laurin, we head out of the valley. The hairpin bends down to the crossroads (Obergurgl) are fun from the first few metres. We keep to the right at the crossroads and take the B 186 out of the valley past the districts of Angern and Pill. From here, the road descends gently along the flower meadows and the Timmeltal waterfall to the "Windeck". (the name comes from the often strong wind from the Timmelsjoch) From here, the road descends in several sharp bends to Zwieselstein. In the village we turn left and follow the Venterstrasse. The road takes us to the end of the valley to Vent. Vent is mainly known as a mountaineering village. After a break on one of the guest terraces, we return to Zwieselstein and turn right again via the B 186 to the Hochgurgl/Meran junction onto the Timmelsjoch road to Hochgurgl and the Alpenhotel Laurin
