Circumnavigation of the Brenta
Motorbike tour around the Brenta mountains, whose rock faces echoed the cannon fire of fierce battles in past wars...
This tour starts anti-clockwise in Naz in the Isarco Valley - Bressanone - Bolzano and leads to Caldaro on the Wine Road in the Bolzano lowlands. From here we cycle up to the Mendel Pass, on to Castelfondo, Laurein, Varollo-Scanna, Tozzaga, Croviana and Dimaro in the Val di Sole. On to Folgarida, to the well-known ski resort of Madonna di Campiglio, on to Pinzolo, Spiazzo. On to Preore, Coltura, past Lago di Ponte Pià, Stenico, San Lorenzo in Banale and finally to Lago di Molveno. We then continue to Andalo and Fai della Paganella, reach Mezzolombardo and Mezzocorona, Roverò della Luna, Kurtinig on the wine route, Margreid, Kurtatsch, Tramin and Kaltern. After a delicious gelati at Lake Kaltern, we rev up the engine, which is still warm to the touch, and set off on the journey home to Natz.
