From your starting point, you first head towards Lienz and on into the idyllic Lesach Valley. This route is one of the most unspoilt valleys in Europe and boasts quiet roads, little traffic and an impressive mountain backdrop - perfect for relaxed, enjoyable motorcycling.

The route then takes you over the border into Italy, where the landscape slowly changes: The roads become wider, the climate milder and the Italian attitude to life more tangible. Once you arrive in Tolmezzo, the charming little town invites you to take a break - ideal for a coffee or lunch.

The return journey offers more varied bends and wonderful views before you return to Mölltal.
