ÖTZI-Tour
Cool moto tour in the area where the glacier mummy "Ötzi" was found! This tour has it all: fast bends, idyllic Alpine roads and, last but not least, a fantastic panorama. Starting from Brixen, we head north to the Fugger town of Sterzing, from where the tour continues over the Brenner Pass towards Innsbruck. If you are looking for an extravagant panoramic opportunity in Innsbruck, you can make a detour to Mount Isel and head up to the restaurant at the ski jump.
If you finally feel the urge to get back on your bike, the route continues towards Axams, Sellrain, Schrofen-Kircheben and finally Längenfeld in the Ötztal. If you're not in too much of a hurry, Längenfeld has a magnificent thermal spa with naturally warm thermal water and a splendid sauna area. Once you've finally got the PS chair under your bum again, you reach Sölden, and up to Hochgurgl in the Ötztal mountains, where the man in the ice has also been discovered. From the Timmelsjoch at 2475 metres, the road winds its way down into the Passeier Valley to St. Leonhard, where you can take a break if you feel like it. For those interested in culture, there is also the Andreas Hofer Museum to visit.
If you're still addicted to the bends, you can satisfy your hunger for curves on the ascent to the Jaufen Pass. There are countless bends and hairpin bends to conquer here before you can zoom back down the other side of the pass and head south via Sterzing back to the starting point of the tour in Brixen.
