Over the Reschen Pass and past the famous lake with its prominent church tower, the route leads through the Vinschgau Valley to fashionable Merano. The second largest city in South Tyrol has been a spa town since the 19th century, not least thanks to its Mediterranean climate. The route leads back to Austria via the legendary Timmelsjoch, where it comes to a crowning conclusion after an impressive ride over the Piller Höhe.
