Brief description
Cross-border tour through Tyrol and Bavaria with many scenic and tourist highlights. From Bruck am Ziller out of the valley to Wiesing and towards Achensee. Take the B181 through the Achental valley to the Achenpass and continue on the German Alpine Road (B307) past Tegernsee and Schliersee.
A detour to Spitzingsee (1,128 m) is worthwhile. Back on the B307, the Tatzelwurmstraße leads to Bayrischzell and Sudelfeld. Instead of the motorway back: small country roads via Kufstein, Mariastein and Schönau to the Kramsach lakes. Via Brixlegg, Reith and Kerschbaumsattel you return to the Zillertal.
