Short description

Extremely varied crossing of the Alps with spectacular passes and panoramic views of the Dolomites. From the Zillertal valley, the route takes you over the Gerlos Pass (toll, viewpoints & Krimml waterfalls) towards Mittersill.

We reach East Tyrol via the Felbertauern Tunnel (toll), ride through the Defreggen Valley and up the Staller Sattel (2,059 m) into the Antholz Valley. Continue over the wooded Furkelpass (1,789 m) to the Würzjoch (1,987 m) - partly single-lane pass roads with breathtaking views.

The route leads via the Lüsnertal valley to Brixen, continuing on the SS12 past the Franzensfeste fortress and the Brenner Pass, before returning to the Hotel Sonnleiten via the old Roman road and the B169.
