Why wander into the distance when beauty is so close! Starting from Laudersbach via Filzmoos past the striking Bischofsmütze - the holy mountain - up to the foot of the Dachstein glacier to the Türlwandhütte. Toll 6 euros. If you want, you can take the glacier railway for a detour from summer to the snow. Then down via Weissenbach into the beautiful Ennstal valley to Gröbming - with endless fun on the bends up to the Stoderzinken with fantastic views of the Styrian Limestone Alps. Back via Schladming to the idyllic Untertal valley for a snack at Gasthof Riesachfall - from there a short walk takes you to the impressive Riesach waterfalls. Via Hauser Kaibling, Reiteralm and Forstau-Fageralm, the short but very impressive tour ends back in Altenmark
