Motorbike expertise
From a child's bike to the GS Adventure - many crashes, countless kilometres and even more stories later, I know that a good hotel for bikers only needs four things - respect, a warm meal, a soft bed and genuine understanding.
Your host
My love of motorbikes began as a child - long before I knew what "insurance" meant or that the police don't always just wave to say "hello". Back then, I was already practising the most important biking skills: staring at motorbikes and ignoring parents when they shouted: "Slow down!"
At sixteen, I had an anthracite-coloured Vespa PX 200 E. Driving licence only up to 125 cc? No problem - my father and I occasionally went on "family trips"... to the magistrates. Every family has its traditions. Then, at eighteen, I was a "real" biker. Tarmac and I quickly became close friends, albeit sometimes in creative ways - so I wisely moved into the woods on a KTM 640 LC4. This was later followed by a KTM 620 SC, lighter, livelier - but the passion faded a little.
Then the family phase began. Sports, campers - and Ludvik, a Peugeot 50 cc, still had his place of honour. As the children grew up, the motorbike spirit returned: BMW K1600 GTL, king of the road. The knees were sceptical, but the fun prevailed. And then SHE came along - the GS 1200 Adventure. Love at first sight. 100.000 kilometres later, I switched to the 1250 - it is still with me today. If motorbikes had hearts, both would be full of happiness.
After countless nights in hotels, I know what a biker really needs: a good bed, a spacious shower, a secure car park and the feeling of being among like-minded people. Hence my promise: At Hotel Grof you will be treated the way every biker deserves - with respect, good food, a soft bed and a smile that understands why you arrive muddy, soaked or with a helmet in your hand.
See you on the road - or even better: on our terrace.
Ride safe - and may your selfie always remain police-free!
Bike Plus
This is the end of run-of-the-mill motorbike holidays. Bends & passes MEETS pleasure & relaxation. Experience unforgettable moments that start right outside the hotel - just the way you like it.
Once the bike is stationary, the body is revved up. The location and/or facilities of this MoHo - Motorbike Hotel offer the best conditions for numerous exercise and sports activities such as hiking, running or mountain biking. Action-packed activities such as rafting and canyoning are also on offer. Of course, experts are on hand to accompany you.
In addition to motorbike expertise, the pampering programme for body, mind, soul and, last but not least, the palate is a top priority. Whilst "she" enjoys a wellness treatment and relaxes in the sauna and bath, "he" goes on tour with the MoHo host - or vice versa. In the evening, both palates are spoilt equally with specialities from local cuisine.
