Motorbike tours in the Three Peaks - Kronplatz - Eisacktal region
The Three Peaks are probably the most striking and best-known mountain range in the Dolomites. Thanks to their unmistakable shape, the three peaks, all of which are close to the 3,000 metre mark, are considered a landmark of the Sesto Dolomites in Alta Pusteria and an absolute highlight of the 3 Peaks Dolomites region.
The landmark of the Dolomites
The Tre Cime di Lavaredo, as the 3 Peaks are called in Italian, and the nature park of the same name were declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2009 along with the other Dolomite peaks. The legendary north face is located on the Dobbiaco and therefore South Tyrolean side, while the southern side of the 3 Peaks is in the Italian province of Belluno. The border therefore runs right across the striking peaks. If you want to experience the unique formation up close on a motorbike holiday in the 3 Peaks Dolomites region, take the toll road directly to the foot of the imposing obelisks.
Fun fact: at 2,999 metres above sea level, the highest of the three peaks, the Große Zinne, is only 1 metre short of the 3,000-metre mark. However, this does not detract from the high alpine WOW experience!
Insider tip at the entrance to the Puster Valley: the road from Mühlbach past Meransen to Weitental is a low-traffic but winding alternative to the main road through the Puster Valley. Panoramic views included.

MoHo host since 2016
Here at the entrance to the Dolomites, biking is almost mandatory for local people. But what lies even closer to my heart is the ART of being a host. It is my purpose in life and brings pleasure not only to my motorcycling guests.
Toni Überbacher, MoHo host since 2004, has handed over the reins of the Active-Motorbike-Hotel to his two sons Tobias and Simon - however, he still keeps the motorbike expertise firmly in his hands. After all, the senior boss knows the imposing Dolomite two-wheeler region like the back of his hand and can give the best tour tips. But Tobias is also on hand to give guests plenty of advice and help with tour planning.
“Forza Italia” is my motto when it comes to motorbikes. I started with a yellow Vespa at the age of 14 and now have a Ducati Monster from which I “check that everything is in order” on the many Dolomite passes on our doorstep.
