With MoHo, your motorbike experience starts right at your hotel door.
Rise and shine, get in the saddle and off you go!
Your MoHo host will take you on guided tours to the most beautiful spots and secret corners of his home territory. They start right outside your hotel door. This is what makes a motorcycle holiday so much fun! There's no room for haphazard touring when you have all this expertise at your fingertips.
Your starting point is where you are - your host is your guide.
From the doormat to the touring adventure
Ride, come home, sit and enjoy - after a dream tour together through unknown territory, it's off to the MoHo paddock. This is where the community meets, where your personal VIP bike guide reveals his best tour tips.
Take advantage of the home field advantage and the invaluable insider knowledge of your hosts - start your touring adventure right from the doormat.
Our location, far away from the famous but overcrowded bike hotspots, is often treated as an insider tip. But our hotel is not hidden away at a secret location. On the contrary, my expert knowledge of our extensive gravel path network attracts friends of a sophisticated drift angle on a regular basis.
A real Zilltertal Valley local must be called Kröll and can ride a motorbike. Well, this is what I say :-)) We have so many beautiful mountains and countless curves at our front door - enough to share them with our guests, which we love to do of course!
Whether the Erzberg mountain or the “Romanics“, my stomping ground is off road. My wife on the other hand is out and about on the road - alone and with our guests. So, it comes as no surprise that we met when motorcycling. A joy that‘s shared is a joy made double!
As a genuine Carinthian (for real!) and former driving instructor, I naturally know what is good and right for bikers in our country! Of course, mainstream is also part of it, but my personal favourites are off the beaten track and very few people know them. To keep it that way, I only reveal them to our guests on site at the adventure hotel. Really now!
"Curves and Delight" is the motto my wife, Nadja, and I have chosen for our country hotel. This is exactly what we would like to offer our guests every day. So, on your motorbike and off to Altenmarkt.
As a good host, I have to be cruel to my guests from time to time. Especially when we set off at the crack of dawn for the Großglockner to experience an unforgettable sunrise. Afterwards, however, I am regularly forgiven.
Some people say that I take anything with a saddle. This might be because we have a stable full of horses next to our BMW test drive centre. Although: both have to do with horsepower. My sons definitely prefer horsepower on two wheels.
Christine is one of the MoHo founding members. It seems that she was and still is responsible for maintaining the quota of women within the group. But when it comes to bikes, she prefers proper mean machines. Josef loves his Yamaha 950 midnight and long bends.
In our house, we share a passion and the chores. This is how we discovered our shared enthusiasm for motorcycling. Our motorbike guests therefore profit from double “advisory power“ today.
I am on a successful mission convincing more and more bikers that high mountain summits are not a must for extensive curvy pleasure. The density of curvy labyrinths here on the Mühlviertel Alm is unsurpassable.
The name of our hotel translates to hunter’s lodge and has nothing to do with my hobby. Because it would have been called “Bikerhof“ (biker’s lodge) otherwise. Still, our guests enjoy all amenities of a real motorbike hotel. And the hunting we leave in the hands of the senior boss.
We couldn’t imagine a hotel without motorbike guests. Here, at Schönauer Hof, is the motorbike at centre stage. We and our tour guides offer an unmatched range of guided tours of all levels of difficulties.
