Driving fun on Monte Bondone

Route:

Hotel Teutschhaus - Trento - Bondone plateau - Cimone - Ronzo-Chienis - Loppio - Nago - Arco - Tenno - Fiavè - Lake Toblino - Trento - Hotel Teutschhaus

We follow the SS12 until shortly before Trento. Via the tangential motorway we reach the SP85, which takes us up the Bondone plateau. From 200 metres above sea level, we reach 1,650 metres within approx. 25 km. The challenging road layout and the marvellous views are the highlight of this tour. Shortly after the ski resort of Vason, we reach the saddle of Monte Bondone and have a breathtaking view of the 3,000 metre peaks of the Brenta.

We now leave the Bondone plateau behind us and continue along the winding and varied road to Ronzo-Chienis, which is often only 3 metres wide. On this stretch we have marvellous views of the Adige Valley time and again.

In Loppio, the road joins the SS240, which takes us to Arco. A short detour to Torbole on Lake Garda would be a good idea! We reach Lago di Toblino via Tenno and Fiavè. The castle of the same name makes a great photo opportunity.

Continuing along the SS45bis, we reach Trento again and take the SS12 back to Kurtinig.
