Start at the Strasswirt, direction Kötschach over the Gail mountain pass to Döllsach in beautiful East Tyrol over the winding Iselsberg to Heiligenblut at the foot of the Großglockner. During a short break you can visit the imposing church of Heiligenblut.

Then on to the king of the mountains, the Großglockner (watch out for increased traffic controls).

If you are travelling "slower" you can watch the marmots.

Turn right again over the Glockner in the direction of Salzburg at Bruck an der Glocknerstrasse, over wide roads and beautiful countryside in the direction of Altenmarkt/Pongau from there via Radstadt up to Unter or Obertauern, a short break to see where some people ski in winter - continue on long winding roads to Katschberg and on towards Gmünd via Spital a. d. Drau to Greifenburg.

Then another short winding climb over the Kreuzbergsattel to Hermagor - another 8 km to "home" at the Strasswirt.
