Leisurely tour in the Appenzellerland
This tour is something to relax on. There are no major technical requirements. It is a good way to relax a little between two major Alpine tours. The landscape in Switzerland is partly like a model railway landscape: Views of the Rhine Valley and Lake Constance included.
The first and last sections are also scenically
also recommendable, you cross Vorarlberg, so to speak. The only thing that detracts from the enjoyment of the ride is crossing the Rhine Valley twice.
VERY SPECIAL TIPS FOR REFRESHMENTS:
A coffee stop is recommended on the Furkajoch. There are plenty of places to stop for refreshments along the way, but beware, Switzerland is expensive!
The afternoon stop can be made at "Motorradcenter Oberland" in Ludesch. There is a cosy café on the
1st floor. In Thüringen, simply go straight on (instead of left) and after approx. 1km on the right-hand side.
SPECIAL TIP:
There is a show dairy at Schwägalppasshöhe/Säntis. You can also take the cable car up to the Säntis. There is a fantastic view in good weather.
