The Lech Valley is a winding dream area for motorcyclists: with the legendary Hahntennjoch, which offers 30 kilometres of serpentine fun and 15 hairpin bends, the region is one of the absolute highlights of Tyrol for motorcyclists. Please note that there is a ban on motorbikes with a noise level of more than 95 dB(A). From here, there are fantastic routes in all directions - to the Allgäu, the Bregenzerwald, the Arlberg or over the Alpine passes to Italy and Switzerland. You will be accompanied by the turquoise-coloured Lech, one of the last wild rivers in the Northern Alps.
Wild and unspoilt Tyrol
Motorcycling in the Lech Valley means boundless variety. The ascent to the Hahntennjoch - one of the most spectacular motorbike roads in Tyrol - starts right outside your hotel door. 30 winding kilometres lead you through alpine landscapes, past imposing rock faces, blooming alpine meadows and magnificent viewpoints. From here, you can head in all directions: over the Flexen Pass to the Arlberg, over the Hochtannberg Pass to the Bregenzerwald, over the Gaicht Pass to the Allgäu - or straight on to Switzerland and Italy.
But the Lech Valley is more than just a road. The river Lech - one of the last wild rivers in Europe - characterises the region and provides a special kind of nature experience. If you are looking for a change, swap the motorbike saddle for a rafting boat or a climbing harness.
