Penserjoch Jaufen Gampenpass

Motorbike round tour over three passes: Penserjoch - Jaufen - Gampenpass / Mendel.

In Brixen we get on the motorbike and ride southwards to Waidbruck, where we turn right and cycle up past Barbian on the Ritten. From Klobenstein on the Ritten we head down into the Sarntal valley, from there to the Penserjoch, down to Sterzing, left to Gasteig and back up to the Jaufenpass, where we have earned a rest.

Afterwards we get back on our bikes and take the many bends down the Jaufenstrasse to St. Leonhard in the Passeier Valley. From there it's flat again to Meran, at Sinich / Lana we turn right towards Tisens, and finally end up with our bikes in Unsere Liebe Frau Im Walde (Sankt Felix).

From there we continue on to Mendel and along the harmonious bends of the Mendelstrasse down towards Kaltern on the South Tyrolean Wine Route. A stop at Lake Kaltern for an ice cream or a cold beer is never a bad idea.

Via Bolzano and Chiusa you return to the starting point of the tour near Bressanone/Brixen.
