On the ascent to the San Lugano Pass, we have fantastic views of the Überetsch and Unterland regions. It connects South Tyrol with Trentino. Passing the main towns of the Fiemme Valley, Cavalese and Predazzo, we reach Canazei. The Strada del Pordoi, built in 1872, leads to the southern ramp of the Sella Pass with some deep views into the valley and up to the pass via tight bends.

We continue winding downhill and along the Sella massif until we reach the Gardena Pass. A breathtaking view of the Sassolungo awaits us. The descent ends at Corvara, the tourist centre in Val Badia. The famous Sella Ronda also passes here.

The Campolongo Pass is the lowest of the four passes on the Sella Ronda, but its unpredictable bends make it a very interesting ride. We reach the Pordoi Pass via Arabba. 33 hairpin bends lead up to the summit, where we have a breathtaking view of the Sella massif.

We turn off at Vigo di Fassa and reach Lake Carezza via the Carezza Pass. It is known above all for its gentle, deep green water and the beautiful mountain scenery with the Rosengarten and Latemar in the background. Via Deutschnofen and Aldein we return to the familiar road to Montan and back to Kurtinig.
