I have been riding motorbikes for over 20 years and have been running a "biker-friendly" hotel since 2009. As an enthusiastic motorbike and Vespa rider, it is my hobby to explain the best tours to my guests.
Even as a child, I was fascinated by motorbikes, including my father's. Today, I can hardly wait for another ride on the numerous Dolomite passes on our doorstep.
Despite having our own fleet of vehicles, our focus is not on the equipment, but on the feeling of life on two wheels.
There is unity and a division of labour in our house. That's how we discovered our shared passion for motorcycling years ago. Today, our biker guests benefit from this double "counselling power".
Here at the entrance to the Dolomites, biking is almost a must for us locals. But what is also close to my heart is the ART of hospitality. It is my purpose in life and something our guests enjoy.
I'm now more of a relaxed biker - that just suits me, at least that's what my friends say. We are also happy to organise a guided tour on request.
My father passed on his enthusiasm for motorbikes to me. I still remember my first trips as a child, on the pillion seat of his Motoguzzi 500, back then without a helmet and on barely tarmac roads.
Evil tongues claim that anything with a saddle is fine with us. Only because we have a stable full of horses in addition to the BMW Testride Centre. Although: both have to do with horsepower. However, the younger generation clearly prefers horsepower with 2 wheels.
With a ring moped, a cruiser and an adventure bike in the garage, I've been bitten by the bike bug. And I love to share this with my guests!
"Forza Italia" is my motto when it comes to motorised two-wheelers. Starting out on a yellow Vespa when I was 14, I now ride my monster Duc on the many Dolomite passes on our doorstep.
