The Alpen-Wellnesshotel Laurin in Hochgurgl, which more than deserves its name, is enthroned at an incredible altitude of 2,150 metres above everyday life. In the middle of the Ötztal Alps, surrounded by peaks and glaciers up to 3,500 metres high. Host Roland has the best tour tips for hot stoves at the ready - at dizzying heights and in lower valley locations. He knows every hairpin bend and winding pass road here. His insider knowledge is priceless.

At Alpenhotel Laurin, real biker feeling meets alpine lifestyle. After spectacular day tours through Tyrol, South Tyrol and Switzerland, the Alpine tours & adventures are discussed afterwards - in the hotel's own Tyrolean Badestube, which impresses with 400-year-old wood and the unique view of the Ötztal glacier world. The alpine 2150 Relax & Move wellness area is just as impressive.
You'll also be in pole position up here in culinary terms: regional specialities and Mediterranean delicacies await you in the Laurin Kulinarium and at the Panorama Bar. Afterwards, you can continue your petrolhead conversations with Roland and like-minded mountain bikers. And make new plans for the next day on the Timmelsjoch.

At home high up in the mountains, right on the Timmelsjoch road and always a trial or other motorbike in the garage. What else is there to do but ride a motorbike? And now that we have a fantastic motorbike museum on our doorstep, there's no choice for guests either :-)
Your host
It all started at the age of 10, back then it was a Giordani Kindercross. Together with my friends, we made the terrain around Hochgurgl unsafe on 2 wheels. Then came the trail sport with a Fantic, ... from then on, no slope was too steep and no path too narrow for us to explore.
After my apprenticeship as a hotel manager in Salzburg, I bought my first Drag Star. After a longer break from road riding, at that time I used a Beta Trail off-road, I occasionally tested new products on the market, including a BMW GS, ... just last year an Indian Scout and just recently the new BMW R nineT Scrambler ... a really nice motorbike.
Today we can look back on several successful years since taking over the business, and we have been able to realise a number of improvements in the meantime. Since last year, we have been increasingly looking after our motorbike guests. We are now also a proud "MoHo" member business and have made it our mission to pamper our motorbike guests with the appropriate professionalism and Tyrolean warmth.
The highlights on two wheels: the Timmelsjoch with the TopMountainMotorcycleMuseum, the Stilfserjoch with its countless hairpin bends, the routes through the orchards and vineyards of the southern part of the country - it's all waiting for you.

This is the end of run-of-the-mill motorbike holidays. Bends & passes MEETS pleasure & relaxation. Experience unforgettable moments that start right outside the hotel - just the way you like it.
Once the bike is stationary, the body is revved up. The location and/or facilities of this MoHo - Motorbike Hotel offer the best conditions for numerous exercise and sports activities such as hiking, running or mountain biking. Action-packed activities such as rafting and canyoning are also on offer. Of course, experts are on hand to accompany you.
In addition to motorbike expertise, the pampering programme for body, mind, soul and, last but not least, the palate is a top priority. Whilst "she" enjoys a wellness treatment and relaxes in the sauna and bath, "he" goes on tour with the MoHo host - or vice versa. In the evening, both palates are spoilt equally with specialities from local cuisine.
